  • Family: Monthly subsidy for daycare - up to $120 CAD/month per child; financial aid to care for elderly relatives - up to $450 CAD/month upon social assessment.

61-75 years:

  • Retirement and Income Supplements: Average state pension allowance of $700 CAD/month; additional supplements of up to $300 CAD/month upon proof of low retirement.
  • Health: Universal access to public health with full reimbursement for consultations, essential medicines and home nursing services - aid available upon registration.
  • Social Support: Subsidy programs for the elderly with reduced mobility and free home care.
  • Tax benefits: Exemption from IMI (Municipal Property Tax) and municipal taxes in some cases; possibility of partial exemption from IRS on pensions below certain limits.
